Obituary for Harvey Lamar Crittenden

Harvey Lamar Crittenden, 89, of Lake Village, Arkansas passed away Saturday, January 7, 2023 at Chicot Memorial Hospital. Harvey was born April 15, 1933 in Thomastown, MS to the late James Sinclair Crittenden and Thelma M. Jenkins Crittenden. Harvey was a resident of Lake Village since 1970. He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a longtime brick mason, truck driver and inventor. He loved to fish and hunt. Harvey attended United Pentecostal Churches since childhood and he was a member of The River Pentecostal Church in Greenville, MS.
Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, John Crittenden and DeRoy Crittenden. Survivors include his daughter, Joyce Yuratich currently of Anchorage, AK; Thomas Yuratich, son-in-law of 39 years; sisters, Dirl Temple of Fayetteville, NC and Nell Ray Long of Ft. Payne, AL; grandchildren, Joshua (Courtney) Yuratich and Heather Yuratich; great-grandchildren, Noah, Makayla and Laken.
Visitation will be held at 10:00am-11:00am Thursday, January 12, 2023 at The River Pentecostal Church in Greenville, MS. Funeral services will follow at 11:00am at the church with Rev. Chase Oltremari officiating. Burial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The River Pentecostal Church, P.O. Box 4652, Greenville, MS 38704.
