Obituary for Stacey Michelle Linn
Stacey Michelle Linn, 48, of Arkansas City, AR passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Friday, April 21, 2023 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock, AR.
Stacey was born on November 13, 1974 in Alexandria, LA to the late William Marshall Foust and Beverly Evans Foust.
Stacey was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of McGehee, AR. She loved attending Sunday School and Bible study with her church family. She loved shopping and always looked her very best. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren Samuel and Ellie Grace. Another one of her great joys was helping take care of their farm employees during harvest. She would even occasionally take treats to other surrounding farmers who were in her path. After Stacey received her cancer diagnosis, she gave her life to the Lord and truly lived each day for him, even during the difficult times. Anytime she could share her cancer journey, she was sure to share how God had impacted her life. One of her favorite songs was, “Let Me Tell You ‘Bout My Jesus,” and that is exactly what she did. Stacey also loved and appreciated all of the staff at CARTI who helped her significantly during her cancer journey.
Other than her father she was preceded in death by her sister, Kimberly Robertson; brother, Earl Foust
and father-in-law Larry Linn, Sr. Survivors include her husband, Donnie Linn of Arkansas City, AR; mother, Beverly Foust of Olla, LA; sons, Colby (Kara Beth) Linn of McGehee, AR and Logan Linn also of McGehee, AR; brothers, Richard Cameron of Poland, LA and Michael Cameron of Jena, LA; sisters,
Victoria Littleton of Poland, LA, Diane Volentine of Olla, LA, Tiffany Foust of Olla, LA, Heather Marquardt of Fifthward, LA, Kathi Volentine of Tullos, LA, Jodi Douthit and Nicole Murdock both of Conway, AR; grandson, Samuel Linn; granddaughter, Ellie Grace Linn; mother-in-law, Donna Linn of McGehee, AR.
Visitation will be 5-7 pm Monday, April 24, 2023 at First Baptist Church of McGehee, AR. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11 am Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at First Baptist Church of McGehee, AR with Rev. David Brown officiating. Burial will follow at McGehee cemetery. Pallbearers are Greg Douthit, Bradley Holt, Jason Marquardt, Nathan Murdock, Bret Shelly, Shane Tice, Ken Volentine, and Michael Volentine. Arrangements by Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service.
