Obituary for Teresa Gill Reed
Teresa Gill Reed, 63, passed away Thursday April 27, 2023 at Dermott Nursing Home in Dermott, Arkansas. Teresa was born on September 21, 1959 in Lake Village, Arkansas to the late James Andrew Gill and Rosa Lee Sims Gill Reynolds.
Teresa was a hairdresser for several years and worked at McGehee Hospital as office manager for ten years. She enjoyed working in her flower beds. She was a member of South McGehee Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her daughter, Charlotte Waldrup (Robby) of McGehee, AR; brothers, Andy Gill (Shannon) of McGehee, AR and Bryan Gill of Dallas, TX; sister, Cindy Summers of Ridgeland, MS; grandchildren, William Waldrup and Lauren Waldrup; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. A special “Thank You” to her family, her caregivers, Erma Davis and Jennifer Hawkins, the staff at UAMS, Dermott Nursing Home, McGehee Hospital and Hospice Homecare of Monticello for all the great care and kindness during her journey with her cancer diagnosis.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at McGehee Cemetery in McGehee, AR with Rev. Kenny Culpepper Officiating.
