Shirley Delane Williams Overton, 70, of Tillar, Arkansas passed away Monday, May 22, 2023 at Lake Village Nursing and Rehab in Lake Village, Arkansas. Shirley was born August 27, 1952 in Dermott, Arkansas to the late Pratt Williams and Melba Harrison Williams. She worked for McGehee Hospital for 15 years and she also worked for Terminix for 15 years. Shirley enjoyed reading and riding horses. She loved spending time with her family. Shirley was a member of McGehee Christian Center.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lemuel Glenn Overton. Survivors include her son, Lemuel Brent (Miranda) Overton of McGehee, AR; brothers, David Pratt Williams of Dermott, AR and Larry Joe Williams of Dermott, AR; sister, Guyla Williams (Wayne) Burk of Selma, AR; grandchildren, Tristan Grider, Grayson Lemuel Overton and Zane David Neal Overton and great-grandson, Lemuel Grant Grider.
A graveside memorial service will be held at 10:00am Saturday, May 27, 2023 at Tillar Cemetery Pavilion in Tillar, AR with Rev. Jason Martin officiating.
