Obituary for Jeffery Scott "Scotty" Morgan
Jeffery Scott “Scotty” Morgan, 61, of McGehee, AR passed away Friday, June 2, 2023. Scotty was born in Pine Bluff, AR on March 19, 1962 to the late Glenn Franklin Morgan and Jerry Dean Edwards Morgan. He was a supervisor for Clearwater Paper Company.
Scotty had a great work ethic and he loved to cook. His passion in life was flying radio controlled airplanes. He was also a great cook. After flying remote control planes he would cook at all the fly-ins. He enjoyed listening to music, riding 4-wheelers, and gardening. He loved animals and working with his hands doing carpentry work. Scotty was also a history buff and enjoyed being outdoors. He loved his family dearly. He was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his son Kenan Morgan of Overland Park, KS; daughters, Sara (Chris) Bradley of Tonganoxie, KS, Hannah (Brian) McKearney of Olathe, KS, Cassidy (Brandon) Rousselo of Gardner, KS and Claire Morgan of Overland Park, KS; brother, Franky (Suzan) Morgan of Monticello, AR; grandchildren, Neena Rousselo, Wade Rousselo and Weston Rousselo.
Graveside Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, June 5, 2023 at Oakland Cemetery in Monticello, AR with Rev. Ray Hearron officiating. Burial will follow at Oakland Cemetery.
