Condolence: I think it is very clear how so many felt about your mother. What an impact she had on both those she saw often and those she rarely got to see. She always was so happy to see everyone. She lived her life preparing for this day. How blessed you were that God chose her to be your mother. I know it brings you great peace and comfort to know how much she was loved, but I know you will miss her terribly. I know of one specific time she was literally an angel sent to a friend of mine. It was pure divine intervention at the perfect time with the perfect answer to meet her need. God used her that day just as I'm sure He used her many other times. That day, I know I won't forget.

Condolence: What a beautiful lady to have been a part of our lives. The sadness will be felt by so many but the joy will outshine the sun when we think of her, her smile and her love for all. Your family was so blessed to have such a spirit for the grandchildren and great grandchildren to know and love. Prayers for the family but memories for the heart. Love to each of you.

So many happy memories of growing up in McGehee with your family. Miss Verneal was one of the first people I remember meeting as a 6-year old, and even that young I was struck with her big smile, laughing eyes and as I got older grew to appreciate her beautiful alto singing voice harmonizing with your Dad's beautiful tenor voice in church. I remember one time at a gathering at our house after church Miss Verneal hauled out a guitar and sang and played "Corrinna, Corrinna" and how much fun we all had. I can also remember on a hot summer day when Miss Verneal was expecting Keith's birth that she hiked from your house on 4th Street over to our house on Adams street with your Dad following behind in the car because she was restless and had cabin fever! What a lovely Christian character your mother was and how many lives she has touched in her long life! I can't imagine how you will ever fill the void Miss Verneal's passing has left in your lives. I wish for all of you to have the peace and comfort that comes from knowing we will all see her again, and all of our other loved ones who are now reunited for all eternity.

Condolence: How blessed all of us are for having known Verneal Allison. Her smile could light up a room. I remember as a child she just made you feel good by looking at her because she was always smiling or laughing.
