Condolence: We were sad to hear of Mike's passing. We have many memories of our time in school. He will be missed by all of his friends and family. The years have passed and our school mates have gone to many different locals, by our time at McGehee will always be fond memories. Hope that you all will remember the good times .

Condolence: Elizabeth, our hearts go out to you and Steven at this difficult time. I will always remember the past reunions visiting with you and Mike. I could always tell when Mike was around you, he lit up the room with that big smile that was always on his face. He truly adored you. Where does the time go? It was just 47 years ago that we were moving into the dorm to be roommates.

We would love for you to come visit so I could give you a big hug and talk for hours. I wish that I could say something that would ease you pain but I just wanted you to know that Bill and I are thinking and praying for you and Steven. May you feel God's love all around you.

I wish I had the words or knew a phrase or could recite a quotation that would ease your pain and erase your loss. I don't, but I can remind you of something you already know--no better man than Mike Jones ever lived. I was privileged to have known both you and Mike almost all of my life. I feel honored to have had Mike as a friend during our school years. He was a good man, a true friend. The likes of him will not pass this way again. He will be missed by many.
