Neal Arlan Canada, 56, of McGehee, AR passed away, Sunday, July 24, 2016. He was born on November 18, 1959 in Socorro, New Mexico to Lloyd and Beverly Barnes Canada. Neal was a self employed dump truck driver. He was a former manager for Pepsi of America Distribution in Monticello, formerly worked for RC and Coca Cola Bottling Company and Turner Snax, Inc. Neal helped with the rebuilding of South Louisiana after Hurricane Katrina. He loved spending time with his family. Neal enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time with his dogs. He was a member of Arc of Faith Church in Monticello, AR.
Other than his father, he was preceded in death by his son, Aaron Hudson. Survivors include his wife, Tawana Canada of McGehee, AR; mother, Beverly Canada of Camden, AR; son, Chris Hudson and his wife, Jenny of White Hall, AR; daughter, Ashley Durkee and her husband, Patrick of Denver, CO; brother, Kenny Canada of Camden, AR; sister, Charlotte Castleberry of Booneville, AR; grandchildren, Eden Brown, Mikayla Hudson, Ellie Durkee, Elisha Brown, Morgan Hudson, Gunnar Durkee, Mia Hudson, and expecting another grandchild in September.
Visitation will be held at 6-8 pm Friday, July 29, 2016 at their home, 1003 N. 3rd Street in McGehee, AR. Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, July 30, 2016 at Arc of Faith Church in Monticello, AR with Rev. Bruce Hackett officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Arkansas Children’s Hospital Burn Unit in Memory of Neal Canada, P.O. Box 2222, Little Rock, AR 72203.
