Billie Jean Sass Case, 76, of Arkansas City, AR passed away Sunday, January 28, 2018. Billie Jean was born August 13, 1941 in Dermott, Arkansas to the late John Sass and Bea Reaves Sass. She was a loving mother, wife and grandmother. Billie Jean worked at McGehee Hospital as an Administrative Assistance for over 20 years and formerly worked as an Administrative Assistant at Arkansas City Public Schools. She volunteered at McGehee Food Pantry for many years. Billie Jean was a member of Arkansas City United Methodist Church.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Tommy Sass and John Sass; sister, Charlotte Osborne. Survivors include her husband, Ray Case of Arkansas City, AR; son, Andy (Angela) Case of Monticello, AR; daughter, Darlene (Lynn) King of Arkansas City, AR; grandchildren, Tyler King and Catherine King.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at McGehee Cemetery with Mr. Walt Lowe officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to McGehee Hospital Foundation, P.O. Box 351, McGehee, AR 71654.
